Last night I attended the Maryborough speedway tracks hosting of the Australian Formula 500 national titles, as well as the Queensland title of the modified litre sprints.

 

Racing was clean (note 1) and extremely fast and provided a great spectacle for patrons.  The public support was excellent and I credit the race organisers for an excellent night (note 2).

 

 

 

note1. A couple of cars came together... this happens :)

note2. Officials forgot to stop the race after a car had come unstuck. This isn’t sposed to happen at all.
